WinFundsTM

We begin with our base application, WinFundsTM, and then customize our software for each client. Our clients have software that fits their needs right from the start, then continues to grow and change with technology advances and their changing needs. - WinFundsTM allows for easy entry and retrieval of information with reports and outputs.

You will especially benefit from the use of WinFundsTM extensive Duplicate Detection logic. Cleaning your database during conversion, as well as ongoing, continuous duplicate monitoring (including web entry), ensures clean data. This reduces duplicate records - saving money in communication and production expense.

It also integrates reports in easy-to-use drop down windows as well as the robust report writer, InfoMakerTM.

Application Security
Security can function on many levels. It can be by router, modem, server, user, application, view, record, or field. Security can control each user's privilege to inquire, change, add, and delete any field within the database.

Client access may include:

  • viewing data
  • adding / changing data
  • automatically merging accounts
  • downloading data to client systems
  • creating / accessing counts and selects
  • performing mail merges
  • printing reports

Duplicate Checking Capabilities
WinFundsTM automatically checks for duplicates when adding a new record as well as performs automatic dupe identification during file uploads and address changes. Internet donation/solicitation suspect duplicates are easily combined, or marked as non-duplicates so they do not have to be analyzed again.

Duplicate detection includes:

  • scanning all data entry
  • scanning all NCOA
  • scanning all web membership data
  • scanning all file loads
  • checking aliases and previous addresses
  • multiple rules, defined by the client

User Customization
WinFundsTM supports User-Defined Fields, which can be linked to any other element of the system. Using this facility, clients can add new fields to the database without requiring GSC employees to modify the database. New fields are linked to existing database objects, such as accounts, receipts, events, or specific information you may identify.

Data Uploads from 3rd Party Vendors
WinFundsTM contains a flat file load interface, which allows simple uploading of pre-defined file formats. The base system includes a number of standard formats to include NCOA and Finder File loads as well as others. Additional file formats can be programmed as the 3rd party vendor defines them.

Document Management
User-Defined Fields can also be used to link WinFundsTM to documents from external programs, such as Word, Excel, AVI files or any other application available to the client. In this way proposal documents, scanned images, and digital photographs can all be linked to their related records within WinFundsTM. Users can launch the related applications and data directly from WinFundsTM.

Report Generation
The WinFundsTM system contains a number of standard reports and extracts that are immediately accessible to the users. Ongoing ad-hoc extract and report generation can be done by GSC or by the client using InfoMaker, Crystal Decision, or MS Access. The design of WinFundsTM facilitates client reporting by supplying data views and functions, which manage the complexities of the clients' business rules.

Process Management / Tickler
WinFundsTM supports task assignment, reminders and Outlook synchronization. Tasks, which are assigned to an individual, can be set to display on system log in, and can be viewed through a series of reports. Outlook users can synchronize these tasks to their Outlook task list, maintain the tasks in Outlook, and even sync to their PDA.

Online Access
WinFundsTM WebMember System allows your constituents immediate access to Constituent-Only content, including access to their own account information and giving history.

This system offers:

  • Secure donation pages that mirror your website's look and feel, and preserve its navigation
  • Direct transfer of your online donations -- from the donor's credit card into your organization's bank account
  • Instant, automatic transmission of a customized "thank you" e-mail to the donor from your organization
  • Instant IRS-ready receipt
